We are working on the Jira service desk. We want to avoid complication for our customers to choose options from custom field.
For example,
Customer creates a request to be added to his/her department active directory distribution lists and security groups.
We have a Department and Manager field on the customer portal. Also, we have all the DLs for all department listed so user will have to go through the list to choose the one he/she needs. This is not very efficient and also human errors can result wrong dls or security groups to be assigned to wrong users.
We would like to simplify this by pre-define dls based on the department at the background, so customer will only pick the department, and request will be translate into an issue with correct dls. For example, user picks HR department, all the dls and security groups values are pre-defined to HR field will show up once agent open the issue.
is this possible in Jira service desk?
