Adding a "pop-up" Notification if there ist something new in an issue.

Mathias Koprek December 4, 2018

Hi,

Is it possible to add a little "pop-up" to issues in a queue?

For example: I have the queue "my To Do´s". If the customer adds a comment or something else get changed, I can´t "see" it directly. Sure I get a notification via mail and the "updated" value get changed. But it would be very nice if there would be something like a little green bubble on the issue. In that case we could immediately see if there is something new in the issue.

Kind Regards

Mathias

Not OOTB. You might check the Marketplace for possible solutions. For example, I am using Automation for Jira and it has a means of issuing a notification in messaging applications e.g. Microsoft Teams if I recall correctly. While this isn’t a pop up in Jira it might work for you.

One other thought is to use a dashboard or Kanban board and filter on recently updated, e.g. within last hour.

Hm that´s too bad. The first idea sounds nice but I think it would be nearly the same las our solution now with the email noticfications.

The second idea is nice as well. We are using this already but want a better visibility.

And why it seems like I have 2 accounts.. Is it possible to reset the passwort of the first account? I don´t know why there are 2...

Kind Regards

Mathias
