Azure AD Attributes Sync for Jira

After mapping all fields from Azure AD to JIRA using the Plug in 'azure AD Attributes sync for jira' every other information is displayed as they should apart from the phone number. It is appearing in closed brackets like this: ["0000000000"]. Does any one know why and how I can fix this pls.
