Bell notifications on hosted/server version of Jira?

We recently purchased Jira software and are hosting it on our servers instead of using the cloud. In the cloud version of Jira, there is a bell that indicates the number of new notifications you have, then clicking it gives you a list of all notifications. Where do I find the bell in the hosted version? It's way more useful than the individual emails we receive. Thanks!

There is no bell to indicate the number of new notifications in Jira on-prem.

I am not sure. I have not seen any plans, but it does not mean that the plans do not exist.
