I need to copy Request Types from one Service Desk project to another.
I just spent a full day fleshing out the request types for a project thinking I could use them in another project. When I set the second one up, though, the request types didn't copy.
How do I do this? Is there another place in Jira Settings I should look?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to copy request types in JSD cloud.

Wait... are you saying that Jira approved production features that lack the ability to be easily replicated?!?
So there is no back-end, admin ability to "bulk copy" or anything??

Jira Service Desk allows you to created a project from shared configuration. When you do this you create a project based on another projects settings. This includes the core settings of Jira; workflows, issue types, statuses, etc. Request types are not included in this. On Jira Server there a several apps that allow you to create templates or copy projects. None of these have it built in to copy request types.

wow. wow.
I'm stunned that no one in those architecture meetings didn't say "Wait... we're going to build a way for users to copy these 'request types' across projects - right??"
Jira's ENTIRE feature set is built on "Schemes" - in fact there are schemes... of SCHEMES. And yet not one person stepped up and said "Guys, this is a really bad idea. We need to allow copying request types across projects."
And then... to simply roll it out without ANY method - not even Admin?? not even a back-end ticket to script it??
my God.
I've just lost a tremendous amount of respect for Atlassian.

How is the ability to copy request types in the same project or to another project STILL not part of the product? Besides the obvious fact that this should be a feature, if you google its clear that the demand for it is there based on the number of hits.

Ah, the annual tradition continues: just dropping by to confirm this is still not a thing. See you all next year!
