Why is jira@<custom>.atlassian.net not working while support@ <custom> .atlassian.net is working? Some customers use the first one as that one is used when the customer receives their reply and some try to use it for a new issue.
What is the email you configured for the email request?
Incoming mail is the default jira@<custom>.atlassian.net one.
Channels email is support@ <custom> .atlassian.net.
