Hi! I realize that there a dozen questions/answers about Jira permissions. I guess I am dense because I"m struggling. Here is the scenario:
This is where I am stuck.
Where do I make the permission changes to his role so when logging in, he only see the one project?
Sorry if I am a dummy.
Thank you!
Hi @Jason Sweet
If you go to your Project's Permission Scheme, you will find a permission called "Browse Projects".
Give this permission to a specific role (preferred) or your group or individual user. Role is preferred because in that case the Project Admin can add people to that role let us say "External User" and they will be able to manage it by themselves without bothering your Jira Admin.
I hope it helps.
Ravi
Thanks for the help, Ravi.
Yes, the role has been added to Browser Projects. However, the user can still see all the other projects. What am I missing?
Thanks.

Are there any other 'default' groups this user may have on his profile that gives access to all projects? Mine was called jira_users This being found in the user admin console.

bad answer: in this way you change all permissions for all the project that are using that particular scheme.
