In a new JSM project, the default language is set to "Dutch" (where I come from). I would like to set this default to English. This is the only language we want to use within the system, so disabling the option Dutch would be great. What's the best way to change this?
By default, products use the language set by your browser. Product admins can overwrite that language settings by setting a default language for the product. However, if you set a language from your Atlassian account, your language setting overwrites the language the admin sets.
Refer to https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-jira-application-options/ and https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/manage-your-language-preferences/
Hope it helps!
@Fazila Ashraf hi!
Thanks for the quick response. It's not really the answer to my question. I've set the Default language (System settings) to English, my profile settings to English and my browser to English.
How can I change the Project default (as a project administrator), where I still see "Dutch" as the default language? I stlill see this at "language support" within my JSM Project:
Dutch (Netherlands)
I hope you can tell me where I can change this.

@Dave Kleihorst , are you not able to find option to add the language and change the default language of the project?

Thanks @Fazila Ashraf ,
It worked in a new JSM project I've created. I think I have a "translate bug" in another project, I will raise as a separate issue (2 sections need review which I cannot find).
For now, the option to make English will be possible if all translations are there! Thanks.
