As you can see by the 'No access' pic, we've figured out how to prevent access at that level when someone clicks on an item we don't want them to see. However, we wonder if it's possible to secure it a level up.
So the 'portal' pic shows what they see now. Is it possible to secure it so that at the portal level they'd see nothing at all and get that same 'No access' message? So they literally couldn't enter that area or if they did, they could not even see the titles?
Hello Jim,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
I understand that you would like to prevent customers to see categories that have restricted pages, but categories are created directly in the Service Management project, so customers will be able to view them in the portal. There are no permissions for that.
In this case, since there are restricted pages, it would be better to remove the pages from the categories or remove the entire category.
If you have any other questions regarding this matter, please let us know.
Regards,
Angélica
I think that translates to "remove them as a customer"

Not possible. These are employees. So you're saying it's not doable at that level? I don't think it's the end of the world if that's the case but need to rule it out.
