that depends on your requirements. You can easily (?) simply move all issues from JSW project to JSD project but if you want workflows and project config to migrate then look at an addon. Personally, I would configure my new JSD and move the issues over. This is because typically JSD projects are better served with a different config.

the idea being - backup in current instance and restore a single project in the other. Also, i recommend you search the Community using the search bar as there have been a number of discussions on this and there may be some interesting ways folks have done this including good addons.
