HI,
I would like to know if there is an option to display a warning message to the Agent when closing the issue to notify there are linked issues that are not closed.
appreciate any help on this!
Thanks
Vasavi

Thanks Michael,
I added a Validator, Fields Required (JSU) and selected Verify Linked Issues (the custom field I created) and linked to a Warning screen.
So the user is now prompted with a message and will select the options. However, it does that even if there are no linked issues.
Almost a step closer but need to look into that.
Regards
Vasavi

HI Charlie
Thank you for the reply. I tried Validators -> Linked status and selected the option:
Then entered this "Error message (optional): There are linked issues associated with this ticket. check it before closing."
Also, i selected this as another validator:
Fields Required (JSU)
All i wanted to do is to display a warning message to our Service desk agent that there are linked issues to this ticket, pls check those before closing.
Not sure what is missed out here.

You will definitely need a plugin for this.
