Hi ,

I have Jira Helpdesk Server version and I want to migrate it to Standard JIRA Server version.

I'm happy purchasing a new license.  I want to make sure I don't lose my exisiting tasks and projects

You don't actually need to do any migration if you're not planning to change the server.

Jira Service Desk is an application that sits in front of Jira Core - it adds layers of functionality over the top of a standard Jira project (SLAs, portals, customer users, requests, queues etc).

If you don't need Service Desk any more, just remove it from the current installation.  The issues will remain in place in plain Jira projects, untouched.

Thanks mate for the info.

Do you know if this will convert the licence back to the 10 user license for Jira?  Current the licence for Help Desk is 3 user license .

Mind you for $10 its not a big expense to get another Jira license :)

cheers
