The incoming email HTML is not shown correclty while opening an issue via e.mail in Jira Service Desk.

This issue is related to the renderer of the field Description.
To fix this, please go the Project settings > Fields > to edit.
Then, search for the field Description, click on Renderers and change it to Wiki Style Renderer > Update.

I ran into this issue before, while I’m not in front of Jira atm I do know we used wikiToHtml() on the description with the condition of the issue came in via email.
I will give a proper response once I am at my desk
