Hi, i may ask a very premature question.
I have suggested to my boss about using JIRA service desk for our Service Management team. However, he keeps insisting that it is not ITIL certified especially on the support on CMDB which is under ITIL V3. CMDB is available in ServiceNow. We are using JIRA and Confluence in Development team but we are so out of sync using ManageEngine currently and we are not in short term (2 yrs) buying ServiceNow.
I want to know how Atlassian suggest me to propose the feasibility to use JIRA Service Desk especially fulling CMDB scope?

You would need Jira Service Desk and for CMDB you can use the Insight plugin:

So, based in both answers, JDS isn't ITIL V3 compliance OOTB, that's a shame... it should be supported since initial release... Does anybody knows if it is in the roadmap to be supported any time soon?

You can also try Oomnitza or Device42. I believe they both have CMDB/Asset Management for Jira Cloud.
