Jira SD "Log Work" feature - language issue

Dear Community,

We started to work with the "Log Work" feature but I need to re-set the date from "17/Okt/2018" to "17/Oct/2018". My browser is using english as a default language, Jira is also set to english.

Any idea where the hell the german namings comes from? I need to update the field everytime to the english format. Otherwise I can´t update and save tickets. Any idea?

do you have something like this? (This page is shown in Administration page)

although the default language is German , the fields are in English! maybe this could help you determine whats going on! 

I'm guessing that your index language is in German for some reason... (maybe i guess wrong :P )

Hi @Christos Moysiadis,

Thanks for the language settings but I am using english as a indexing and default language. I switched it for testing purpose but the error still persist. Anyway I will open a official Atlassian ticket. They can deal with it. :)
