Is there a way So that we can schedule a JIRA tickets report ( this is based on a JQL output) better to meet customer needs, I'm trying to schedule a report of total tickets created daily, and I will pick it up from google drive and connect that to an application where I am doing a BI reporting.
Could someone tell me please, is there such a reporting built into the JIRA service desk?
Many thanks and kind regards

You can create and save a filter using JQL (click in the search and advanced search). Once you save it you can set up a subscription to run the report on a give schedule and include various parties.
you don't manage subscriptions in the Jira Cloud for Excel. you create a subscription w/in Jira itself.

Hi Jack,
I understand and agree your steps in getting the results from JQL, saving and manage subscriptions.
My question here is how to select a custom schedule as per our requirement in
"jira cloud for sheets" Addon.

For Sheets, I have not done this so can't say for sure. Your original post wasn't calling out Jira Cloud for sheets so I was answering accordingly.
I poked around in the Community and found a few posts that might help. From what I read Sheets does allow for automatic refreshing but no clue how it works or if you can specify the schedule to meet your needs. Here are some related posts you might find useful:

Filter subscriptions are an under-utilised feature of Jira.

Hi Jack,
Thankyou for the response.
I have made the JQL query and using Jira cloud for Excel Addon (Cloud Jira). There in schedule i can view Options Hourly,Daily, weekly and the current day.
But i want to have custom option for every Month from 1st to 30th or 31st or startof the month and end of the month.I tried in my ways to get the custom selecting option as per our requirement.
For Subscriptions for Jira - Filter Manager, it works in Server and Data center.
