How do I create a Kanban board for a projetc in Jira Service desk?

@Greg Obleshchuk, this is documented in the Atlassian documentation so I encourage you to look there. The reason for this is that the details depends on your version, Cloud or Server and whether you are using the new UI experience. With that said here is how you do it on Cloud w/ new UI.

1. click on magnifying glass (search)
2. under Boards click view all boards
3. on the next screen click Create board and then go thru the prompts

You can create a board based upon an existing project or filter.

We are using Jira Service desk Server version ..  It is JIRA v7.5.0 

Nothing happens when I click the search icon

same here ! Jira Service Desk 3.8.2 with Jira Core 7.5.1. I am searching to enable the 'board' menu. It's not there
