In the recent past I have been able to add gadgets to my dashboards just fine and without issues. Today is a different story, the gadgets will not load, I get the below error and it times out. I researched past community responses, tried suggestions, but have not found a solution.

Someone else on the forums mentioned this behavior today as well. I suggested utilizing a different browser, but that did not work for that user.
Did you recently transition to the new UI?
This sounds like something that could be a potential bug. I'm assuming you have full access and permissions to the dashboards.

I use Chrome but tried with IE, same problem.
I have been on the new UI for about 2 months (is there yet another newer UI?)
I have full admin and permissions access.
I cleared cache, rebooted and relogged on, but without success.

I'd say open a ticket with support and see what they say. It can't be a coincidence that some people are having this exact issue starting at the same time.
You've done all the steps I would have by rebooting/clearing the browser cache.
