I'm a newbie to JSD.
I created a new project and workflow with approvals.
I have some agents and some customers.
I’d like to send all notifications for all steps (issue created, moved, closed, commented, assigned, etc.) for 1 customer (Manager of other customers).
I can’t create ‘Customer Notification’ only for this particular Manager. There are 2 possible cases: ‘Reporter’ and ‘Customers involved’.
I created Notification Scheme and added this 'Single User' to all events, but He doesn’t receive notifications except for “Request created”.
I don’t know how I can send all notifications to the Manager.
We use Server version of JSD.
Would you help me? I would appreciate any help.
Thanks and Regards, Eugene.
Customer notifications are configured under project settings > customer notifications not under project settings > notifications which applies to licensed users of the application. You can’t setup a specific notification on a customer by customer basis.
one thing you can look at is using the built in automation to send notifications to a specific customer but this has its limits and must be done with care, tight conditions.
@Jack Brickey Thanks for the response.
Could you clarify about notifications to a specific customer ?
I can choose only ‘Reporter’ and ‘Customers involved’.
Thanks.

@Thomas Deiler thanks for the response
Yes, the Manager is a customer.
When I try to configure "Customer notification" I see this:
But the Manager is not a reporter and I wouldn't like to send a notification to all "Customer involved", only to a particular Manager.

Dear @Eugene ,
what you plan to do is, to involve a manger for a "signing process". I configured this on an on-premise Jira. Need to have a closer look how this will work on cloud ...
Hold-on

Dear @Eugene ,
we implement this with Insight Asset Management. Taking users as assets which have supervisors, that get automatically assigned to an approval step.
Sorry, but this will not be available on cloud.

@Thomas Deiler I forgot to mention that we use JSD Server version.
Could you clarify how I can send notification to 'Manager' for each step of workflow?
Thanks.

Dear @Eugene ,
We implemented this in a more flexible way (different manager per employee) with Insight.
The general problem is, that customers are logically separated from licensed users in SD. If you manager would be a licensed user, it would be much easier to implement.
