I am supposed to evaluate Service Desk for my company.
When I go to https://randmcnally.jira.com/servicedesk/ , I see the message "You don't have access to any portals." How do I gain access to a "portal" ?
Good Morning Matthew,
I am the "Site Admin" and in the "administrators" and "jira-servicedesk-users" groups.
When I go to Projects and Filter by Service Desk, there are no Service Desk projects.
When I choose "Create Project" I named it "Service Desk" but it created a software project for Jira, rather than a Service Desk Project.
Basically I need to know how to create a Service Desk project.

Hi Matthew,
Hopefully this helps a bit more.

Hi Matthew,
did you create a service desk project?

I don't see where to do that.
We are already using Confluence and Jira so I am not sure how to get to where you configure the service desk. It keeps putting me in Jira. When I tried to create a Service Desk project, it made a Jira project instead.

Service Desk is a component of JIRA so it would make a project. Just to be clear, you do have Service Desk, JIRA and Confluence, correct? They are three separate products offered by Atlassian. When you make a Service Desk project, it does become a project in JIRA.
