Quick question in regards to the jira service management portals, is there a way to set an open text description field for help desk agents, so basically I'm fine with creating the custom field with the description box, however can I create one where the text is displayed to the agents within the description field see attachment enclosed. I need the text in the screenshot below to show in the field and to be actively edited as an when.
Hi @Shaun Morgan, custom field descriptions, which appear below the field on issues, are designed to provide additional details/descriptions about the field. You can define different descriptions in each field configuration to override the description you added but not make it editable. You can look at the available custom field types to see which one meets your needs best, or looking at the marketplace to find an app to help you with that.

Thanks @Ivan Lima for your response, I thought thats was the case yes I'm aware fo the custom fields but specifically wanted an open text one, I will figure out a way to do one that matches the requirements as closely as possible and will also see if there are any apps.
