One of our teams created some Organizations in their Project with Customers inside, then deleted the organizations. But the affected Customers can still see them.
Any ideas?
The problem was the the team had Removed the Organization, rather than Deleting it. So it still existed in the system, but didn't exist in a Project.
To fix, I had to add the Organizations back into a Project and delete them from there.
please define "them" in "...can still see them." if you mean that customers that were in the org can still see older issues that were shared w/ the org then please check to see if the organization is still listed on those issues. While I have not tested this I suspect that just deleting the org does not remove it from previously created issues.

The customer can still see the Organizations under the Requests dropdown, even though no requests were ever raised under these organizations.
For clarity, separate organizations were created for each office/branch the organization had, but then it was decided to keep them under one.

Please run the following JQL and let me know the results.
project = your-project AND Organizations In (a,b,c)
replace “your-project” and the organizations that are showing in portal that should not be.
