Hi is there a way for portal user only in the service desk, to apply a password policy ?
Hello Benoit,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Currently, it's not possible to apply a password policy for customers. We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
Please, click on vote and watch in order to hear about updates on the development cycle.
For now, the password policy can be applied for internal users with verified domain and if you subscribe to Atlassian access.
Regards,
Angélica
I found in my research that Atlassian Access doesn't apply to portal-only users.
https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/apply-atlassian-access-policies-and-features-938859736.html
`When you set Atlassian Access policies and features, they apply to all your managed users with access to these cloud products:
Jira Software
Jira Core
Jira Service Desk (doesn’t apply to portal customer accounts, only Atlassian accounts)
Confluence
Bitbucket
Trello (coming soon)`
Are there any other options?

Hi Alsa,
There is a workaround for that, but it will only work if customers have the same domain you verified for Atlassian access. In this case, to apply password policy for customers, it would be necessary to migrate them to Atlassian account and remove their application access (so they won't count as a license).
Then, they would login using the same URL as users (xxxxxxx.atlassian.net) and not directly to the portal, but as they won't have a license, they would be redirected to the portal.

Angélica
