Some agents can't @other agents or search for watchers

tara.tremelling@cerence.com March 2, 2021

Browse Project Permission is set.

Some agents have no issues. Other agents for some reason cannot @anyone in comments and cannot find other when they go to add them as watchers.

Strange - need some help. Can't ID why some are ok and others are not.

Hi tara. I think the problem might come from a global permission called Browse users and groups.

Some users may be into a group linked to that global permission, therefore they can tag sbdy. I suggest you add those who can't into a group who has this permission.

Tell me if it helped ;)

Yes, that was it. Although Atlassian Access should we think have enabled for all - we specifically added those groups and now they can.

Hi tara.tremelling@cerence.com ,

This is often because they are missing the global permission to do so.

To be able to @mention someone they require the Browse users and groups global permission
