Hi, I'm new here on Jira.
I have a question regarding the sorting of a specific custom-fields column within a specific project.
Right now I can sort all the columns JIRA gives you by default (e.g. Time to first response, Time to Resolution, etc.), but not the ones I custom created.
The idea is to simply sort this specific custom field in alphabetical order.
Any information will be of high value to me.
Thanks!

Hi @Javier Castelblanco Diaz ,
It seems that you are looking for columns in Service Desk queue.
Please follow below steps.
1. Go to Project and Click on Specific queue and Edit the queue.
2. Add the Custom field in below Columns section.
Please note that you require project admin access to perform this.
Thanks,
Avinash
Hi @Avinash Bhagawati {Appfire} , thank you for your fast response.
Like you said, I'm in the Service Desk queue and the column already exist.
However, the mouse cursor doesn't allowed me to sort it, the same way I can do it with the others JIRA default columns.
Even thou I'm not an administrator (my boss is and I can ask him right away for any changes he has to make), I assumed he follow your suggested proccess to add the Organization variable.
If he had to do another thing to make this happen, I will ask him right away.
Please advice and thanks again for your interest in helping me.
Regards,
Javier Castelblanco

Hi @Javier Castelblanco Diaz ,
Unfortunately you will not be able to sort organisation field in queue and for the same suggestion request is already present with Atlassian. Please refer below ticket for reference.
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-4548
As stated in my previous comment you will be able to sort the custom field by following the steps stated in previous comment.
Thanks,
Avinash
