Starting Issues from "1" again "easy" way?

We want to delete all issues and start the new counter from 1 again.

Is that possible? Maybe without deleting the project? ;)

Unfortunately, that is not possible in Jira without creating a new project.

If all the issues are being removed anyhow, just copy the original project's configuration to a new project. You can even give it the same name once the original project has been deleted.
