Support for O365 Modern Auth?

Microsoft recently announced that they will be turning off Basic Authentication for Exchange Online. We use Office 365 for email, and will be affected by this change. Right now we use IMAP to connect to our intake email address, but this won't be an option once the change takes place. Are there any plans to include the ability to use "Modern Authentication" for O365?

We have the same problem with receive requests in our service desk.

For your information @Mark Wenneborg there is a future request raised in JRASERVER-63917 related to this issue. 

Atlassian Product team had reviewed and had put in development backlogs. It shall be released in the next 6 weeks (from December 3, 2019)

You may vore and add yourself as a watcher for the future request in order to receive the latest update with the feature release.
