Hi, I'm looking to use the User Filtering on User Picker Custom Fields. However it doesn't appear on my instance of JIRA. Do I have to enable it somewhere? First pic shows a screen shot of what I was expecting to see. Second screenshot shows my instance.

What I was expecting:

What I can see:

Thanks,

Hollie

The user filtering option can only be applied to custom fields of type 'user picker (single user'.  In this case, the approvers field is actually a 'user picker (multiple users)' field type.   Because these are technically different field types, this multi-picker has never had this specific option to filter the users.  However there is an option feature request for this over in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-40963

Sorry there does not appear to be a clear solution here, but I hope this helps to explain why you are seeing this specific behavior.

Thanks this does help! At least I know why it isn't working for me now! :)
