Validator on date from Customer Portal in jira service desk

I want to validate Date field should not be todays date in Jira service desk cloud version. We are not using any plugin.

Is it possible to implement?

Hi Prashant,

It's possible to set a validator in the workflow, so if the customer chooses "Today" it will show an error.
Please, go to the Project settings > Workflows > Select to edit the desired workflow > Select the Diagram view > Click on the transition "Create issue" > Validators.

On the next page, click "Add validator" > Date Compare Validator > Add. Now, on "Date" you must select the custom field and configure as below:

After that, save the workflow.

FYI, there's an open bug that indicates that validators are ignored when customer transitions are performed. So your solution may not work.
