Hi @Parag Ingale,

you should check in your Application Access-Settings, which groups you granted the Application Access to Jira Service Desk (which groups are licensed as Agents).

The Error you are reciveing is an LDAP Problem. You should check with you AD-Admin. Maybe you are also sycing groups with your LDAP and can not remove the groups in Jira but the must be changed within the LDAP.

Thanks Bastian,
Let me reconfigure my AD and check on syncing groups with LDAP; I may be that thing incorrectly.

Hi @Parag Ingale

The error 49 is an LDAP connection error, specifically the sub error code shown as 52e is an invalid credentials error.

You will need to check your credentials are OK with your AD admin.

re the number of users - I'm no service desk guru  - but are you setting up customer users as agents?

Hi Tom,
Thanks for your help; let me delete and redo AD configuration. I may not be setting customer users as agent; but for sure let me relook the basics :) thanks again and appreciate your time.
