We have recently configured JSD & we would like to create some statistics by the use of a JIRA Dashboard.
I would like to report on the number of tickets our customers (organizations) have reported.
I was going to use the Two Dimensional Filter Statistics gadget but when i attempt to select this field from the XAxis drop-down list the 'Organisations' field is not present?
Please can you kindly advise the best method of producing this information please.
yes unfortunately that field isn't available for whatever reason on gadgets. You may wish to vote on this issue - JSDCLOUD-4770.
:( is there any other alternative to produce some stats at a organization level?

i haven't tried but expect you could copy the organization value into a custom field and then use the custom field in the gadget. Might want to look at this thread on how to copy the organization field - requires addon. I don't think, but haven't tried, that you can copy it natively via post-function.

Ok thanks i will take a look at creating a custom field & report against this field in the gadget...

I went into the same trouble today. A kind of dummy field (which does not necessarily needs to be present on any issue screen for the given project(s)) could solve that.
You can use Automations for Jira Lite in order to copy values from one field to another and if required even based on conditions. Also JMWE does the job pretty well as a post function.

As far as I can see, this is only possible if you copy it to a custom field which is a list that contains the Organizations already.
If copying to a text custom field, that can't be used as a statistic type either.
