problems with sending mail

Good Morning;
I am having problems with sending mail, the emails that I have to send to the GMAIL server are stuck, causing the rest of the emails not to come out automatically. entering the registry gives me the following exception: Could not connect to host, port: imap.gmail.com, 993; timeout 50000. I have not managed to find the way to upload the time out, where should I configure it?
