I'm currently trying to publish an article on a Portal Page using Confluence.
Sometimes the content of the article gets bigger and the whole thing gets harder to see, so I use the "Expand" macro to collapse the article.
When viewed in Confluence, it appears collapsed when viewed, but when viewed on the portal site, it is always "Expended" when first viewed.
How can I make it collapse from the beginning when it is displayed on the portal page?
Hello @Kiyosada Homma,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
The customer portal has some limitations when it comes to Confluence macros, some are expected that it won't work, but the Expand macro should, and the issue that you are facing was reported as a bug:
Please, click on "This affects my team" and also watch to receive updates about the bug ticket.
Kind regards,
Angélica
Hello @Angélica Luz,
this has only been fixed for the knowledgebase but not for the customer portal.
Would it be possible to get this fixed in the portal as well? Or should I rather report this as a bug? Looking forward to your advice.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Alexandra

Testing on my local instance, the Expand macro is now collapsed by default.
I tested using the Confluence page on the new editor.
Can you please test to see if the page you are viewing is using the new or the legacy editor?
If it's the legacy editor, we suggest converting to the new one.
Regards,
Angélica
