For better readability, I would like to remove the Service Desk request from the screen when viewing an Issue.
Is there a possibility to do this? I don't mind manually editing Jira files on the file system.

Unfortunately this isn't possible. That field is necessary as mentioned by Alexey.

I do not know how to remove this tab from the view issue screen. But it is important information. It shows you how the ticket was created and what the request type is. If the Request type field is empty, then the ticket is not visible in the portal.
