Reset request key number

We had been testing the cloud version and creating trial requests. Now any request created has a number starting from the last created request even though the old requests were deleted. Is there away to reset the request number so they start from 1.

That's like a bug. Unless there is a way to clone existing project that has all your configuration, workflows etc. creating a new project means it's not tested. We imported few cases from old portal that brings the key to 24 and creating a ticket directly switches to 342. It makes no sense.

I see what you mean but unfortunately right now there is no such option.

Please vote and watch the following issue with the corresponding suggestion:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-73468

In case the issue has votes and watchers likelyness is higher that the concern will be addresses in the future.
I know that this is not the way you wanted it to work - unfortunately.

Hi Karishma,

on Cloud there is no such option. On on-prem installations (Jira Server) the is the option - but on Cloud it is not.

According to similar requests here in Community the option would be to create a new project.

Regards,
Daniel
