Turn off Email to Issue

We need to turn off the Jira Service Desk feature that automatically creates a Jira issue and places in our Jira backlog whenever someone sends an email to my staff at  "xxxxx.JIRA.atlassian.net"

I cannot find out where this feature is set and maintained and it's causing problems and I need to turn it off.

 

How do I turn this off?

There are two ways that might have been set up.

Within a Service Desk project, if you are an administrator for that project, you should be able to access Project Settings and then select Email Request. You can click the ... button and select the option to Disable all email requests.

Alternately, an email handler may have been created in JIRA Software. That would be accessible to a JIRA Admin under the Settings gear icon, then Jira Settings > System > Incoming Email.
