I noticed that some customers are seen in my Project settings > People view with the service desk customer role enabled. Other customers are not seen in the People view. What is the difference between the customer seen in both Customer view and People view Vs customers only seen in Customer view? Do they have extra access?
Hi, I asked Atlassian Support and they replied that if a customer is added to the project's customers, it is also added to people and vice versa.
The permissions of the two users is the same
If you delete the user from one of the two parties, the other is also deleted.
However, if you insert in an organization who is in the Customers part then you can delete it from People and the customer will still remain in the added Organization.
