I am trialing the Jira Service desk,
I activated the "Email Requests", I configured "public signup", chose the "Request Type".
I read more than a few articles, and still it won't accept the Emails.

are you on Cloud or Server? What did the connectivity log say? Have you added your own POP or IMAP Mail-Server? How does the setting look like, a Screenshot might help us resolving this. :)
