eazyBI - Understanding the Data Cube

As a newbie I am struggling to understand the Data Cube in eazyBI for JIRA. Can anyone point me to some clear documentation. Some help on learning MDX would not go amiss either.

Some of them should explain how data is being imported from Jira when data model is created.
