fields with Text Field (multi-line) display unable to display on issue screen

Hi,

When i am attending to the issues, I noticed that fields with Text Field (multi-line) display doesn't show on my screen. Other fields with Select List display or date picker display for instance will show. 

Wondering what is the issue...

Thank you for reaching out.

Does any error is returned to you regarding the field in the issue view? Or it simply does not display?

We suggest following the steps below to properly troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Navigate to your project > Project Settings > Screens, check if the field is properly listed on your screen
  2. Under Project Settings > Issue layout, check if the field is properly added to the description or context sections
  3. Under Project Settings > Fields, click on actions > Edit fields and check if the field is properly flagged as visible:

  4. Click on the cog icon at the top-right corner > Jira Settings > Issues > Custom fields and click in "Contexts and default values", checking if its context is properly applicable to the project and issue type you are using:
