Hi there,

I have a problem that I can't seem to find the solution to in the documentation. I want to add an "Estimated Date of Completion" type field for the agent to update on the jira project, but I don't want it editable by the customer, only visible on the portal request itself. So the customer doesn't choose a value for this field when they create the ticket, but the agent can update the field at some point during the process. Once updated when the customer views the ticket via the portal they can see the date, but not modify it. This is on cloud. Thanks in advance for your help.

Robert,

I struggled with this as well, sad news is, this isn't possible in standard jira service desk (how crazy it sounds).

You can however use the intenso extension plugin to hide the field on the creation of the issue through the portal, and make is visible again once an agent has updated the field.

While writing this, i just saw you are on cloud...

The intenso plugin is not available on cloud...

So i don't think this is possible on cloud...
