I am using Automation to send E-Mails to relevant parties when a new Ticket is created in Jira Service Management. I use either of the following smart values in these emails:
This works well, except for an issue when there are attachments in the ticket. I know that embeding attachments into emails is an open issue (or at least was back in 2017, see https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/How-do-I-add-attachments-to-an-e-mail-with-Automation-for-JIRA/qaq-p/6556), and I accept that. But when I have a ticket with an attachment, and send an email with either of the above two smart values, Jira still seems to try to embed the attachments, which results in an email such as the following:
I would like to have the email not say anything about attachments at all (see yellow area in screenshot), since Jira is not able to embed them anyway. Can I configure this somehow? Is there a smart value that refers to the issue.description, but without attachments? Or some other way to strip this kind of stuff from emails?
