I have configured Jiras Service Desk (Cloud), and of the three Request Types, one is Request a Change, and I need to create a report of all the requests raised over a period with their current status and latest Customer Comments.
I tried a few products from Market Place, none satisfied the requirements.
Also is it possible to share a particular request type with Portal Customers?

1) one is Request a Change, and I need to create a report of all the requests raised over a period with their current status and latest Customer Comments.
You can create a report in JIRA and see the request raised over a period using a JQL and have current status as part of it reflected in a dashboard gadget.
2) Also is it possible to share a particular request type with Portal Customers? Can I create a Group for Portal Customers?
Do you mean a specific request type with a particular group ?
