Reporter and Organisation Fields

I would like to ensure that the Reporter field and the Organisation field are populated correctly to avoid communication mistakes. can we achieve one of the below two options:

1. if the name in the reporter field belongs to a different organisation than the one populated by the user, return an error message.

OR

2. automatically populate the organisation field based on the name of the reporter.

You can use the Automation to set organizations based in reporter domain.
