I am not able to set or edit filters in Service Desk Reports. Instead of being able to see the filter sets, I only see a wavy line running through the filter bar. Nothing I do seems to get the filters to show up. So, I have no ability to run anything but the stock reports
Is there some setting that I need to correct?

I was able to replicate the same error as you using Firefox 77.0.1, so I would like to know if you are also using the same browser and version.
On Chrome, it worked normally and Firefox in incognito mode also worked.
Then, suspecting of an extension, I disabled all and it worked normally, so I enabled one by one again and it worked for a while and then, the same issue happened again. Even with all extensions disabled, after some time, the issue happened again.
Please, test using another browser and let us know if it works and also let us know on which browser the issue is happening.

I just found out that this issue is a bug and they started to roll out the fix yesterday.
- Field "Filter by" is greyed out on reports while adding/editing a series
The issue should be resolved by Thursday.
Please, click on "This affects my team" and also watch the bug to receive updates.

Thank you for such a prompt and thorough investigation! I really appreciate it.
I use Chrome for all of my work. So, the problem was encountered in Chrome, not Firefox. Just FYI, since it is being fixed this week.
