I created sample automation rule - send email when new issue is created. When I create new issue this rule is not triggered. I created same rule for another project, and it's working fine. I checked the Scope (specific project) and Actor (Automation for Jira).

I saw that you created a ticket with our support and they found what was causing the issue.
The Post function "Fire a Issue Created event that can be processed by the listeners" was missing from the Create issue transition on the workflow, that's why the automation was not triggered.
I'm sharing the resolution here in case other community members have the same question.
