How can I restrict JIRA software users (that are not service desk agents) from adding internal comments in Service Desk projects?
I created a group for certain managers to Browse Projects so that I could create a dashboard for them to see their teams' submissions...I think that's what is causing it, but I don't know how to correct it
You need to restrict the permission "Add/Edit... Comments" to service desk agents.
You can check in the Permission Scheme used by the JSD project, and restrict by Role: "Service Desk Team".
But I'm not sure about the browse permission, unless you have put all the jira software users in the group, JSD is usually restricted when created.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
