Is there anyway to get rid of the sign on requirement for the service desk? Instead, can I add a "choose your name" field and have it connected to active directory?

I did look at this, but I am actually looking at getting rid of the signon requirement completely. We are on a VPN, so the security aspect is unnecessary. Other than giving us the name of who is submitting, we don't have a use for that feature.
