Service Desk <-> Confluence Knowledge Base - Template not show

Bernd Anderer

I have a SD project with a Confluence KG connected. For this KB I created a template that should be used to add new KB articles.

When I am in Jira Service Desk and try to add a new article to the KB I only get the default templates but not the template that I created.

As shown in the screenshot the 3rd template (which I created) is not shown.

I can of course see the template when I am in Confluence and hit "Create ..."

Hi,

Sorry to hear about this problem.  If I understand correctly, you're trying to create a new KB from within Jira to a linked Confluence site, but you're not seeing the template you created there.

I ran across a documented bug that I think fits this behavior over in CONFSERVER-59383.  I would be interested to learn what specific version of Confluence you have here.  That bug ticket does have a work-around here:

You must click on ••• Create from template. There is no need to actually create a page, you can either close the window or create a page and the blueprints/templates will now be populated.

Please try those steps within Confluence and then see if you can refresh this Jira page to see the desired template correctly, and let me know the results.

Andy
