We have a classic Jira Service Management project set up for an internal helpdesk and have recently introduced a Halp integration.
It's working well but I'd like to get to a point where email notifications for tickets created in Slack via Halp are suppressed in Jira as communications happens via Slack already.
I have a custom field setup in Halp that I can use as a filter but don't know how in Jira to go about suppressing all notifications based on this field.
Anyone have any pointers?
Dan
Did you ever figure this out? Same question here. I am resorting to using a different projects for Halp, with the email notifications turned off. But it seems like there should be a better way.
I did not, I gave up a while ago. The service has now fully transitioned into Chat and we actually started again in a new project but by default everything is still sync’d so each Slack message generates a new email, and each email reply fills the Slack thread up with email signatures and logos, it looks a mess.

Thank you for replying! Also damn. Maddening that it's so close to being a great system, but falls at the last minor hurdle.
